There's no glory on the sidelines ...
... although you wouldn't think it from the effort some put into getting to a TV to watch a game, match or race! The big spectator sports haven't played their last innings yet: tennis, football and cycling are all big – plus the British Open tees off this month. Use them to inject something new into your classes, sports-specific training, or kids' packages. Or, if you know your sports and your science, start creating credibility as a go-to expert. Get the facts and then get opinionated; and then get your CV out to the media. If you're looking to up-skill before you do that, check out our magazine and of course giveaways. Let me know how you get on!

Lean, mean biceps
This month, Greg Sellar recommends the concentration curl: Start in a leaning lunge position – not using a bench will activate your stabilising muscles. Tip at the hips, placing one hand on your quad as support for your back. Let the other arm lift to come up to roughly in line with the chin before lowering. Watch out for Greg in next month's Fitpro mag.
