Course outcomes
- Understand what the menopause is, the stages involved and the key hormones that play a role.
- Gain an understanding of the health and nutritional challenges associated with the menopause and demonstrate a clear understanding of how nutrition and lifestyle plays an integral role.
- Be able to give general advice to clients on what and when to eat during the menopause.
- Understand the efficacy of different supplements in the management of the main menopause symptoms.
