FitPro has appointed a head of commercial development to progress strategic plans and drive sales performance throughout the company’s many and varied business areas.
With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Terry Gibbs has worked his way from gym instructor and personal trainer to managerial and directorial sales roles, as well as undertaking sales consultancy work with local authorities, trusts and private clubs.
As head of commercial development, Gibbs will focus on managing commercial business activity and identifying and securing new business. He will also build and consolidate relations with key accounts and corporate groups, as well as supporting the development of the marketing strategy.
Commenting on his new role, Gibbs said, “FitPro matched my career ‘wish list’ perfectly: a strong brand involved in delivering high-quality education programmes, products and services within the fitness industry. To be heading up commercial development for the world’s largest professional fitness development firm is a real coup. I am looking forward to developing FitPro’s stable of brands, including MOSSA, ViPR and the latest addition – TRIBE Team Training – as well as the high-quality education programmes under the PTA Global umbrella.”
FitPro’s co-founder and chairman Brent Hallo said, “Terry’s extensive experience in sales and management, as well as his strategic acumen, make him an excellent addition to the FitPro team. He’s the perfect candidate to help develop our new small group training programme, TRIBE Team Training, as well as pushing our MOSSA group X programmes, core gym floor products and events like FitPro LIVE so that we can achieve even greater market penetration.”
